2. Who can use Zumos
Zumos is for businesses, not consumers. You must be 18 or over and have authority to agree to these terms for your business. You are responsible for everyone you give access to your account, and for keeping your password safe.
3. Free trial
New accounts get a 30-day free trial with no card required. Your trial end date is shown in your dashboard. When the trial ends, online booking is paused until you choose a paid plan. Your data stays in your account.
4. Plans and prices
- Solo / Small Team: £20 a month, for 1–3 staff members
- Growing Team: £30 a month, for 4 or more staff members, including the option of a custom booking web address
Prices are in pounds sterling and billed monthly in advance. We will tell you before you pay whether VAT applies. A valid referral code gives 10% off your first paid month; it can only be added when your business is first set up. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email of any price change.
5. Cancelling
There is no long contract. You can cancel at any time and your plan runs until the end of the month you have paid for. We don't give refunds for part months. Before you cancel, you can export your client list as a CSV file.
6. Your bookings and your clients
- You are responsible for the services you sell, your prices, your booking and cancellation policy, and your relationship with your clients.
- You are the controller of your clients' personal data and must have a lawful basis to use it, including consent before sending marketing. Our data processing agreement forms part of these terms.
- If you add a payment link, payments go directly to you through your own provider under that provider's terms. Zumos does not handle, hold or refund client payments, and does not mark bookings as paid.
7. Custom booking web addresses
On the Growing Team plan you can ask for your own booking web address. Where you use a domain you own, you remain the owner and are responsible for paying for it. Where we register one for you, we will confirm the details with you before it goes live. Web addresses only go live once we have connected them, and they stop working on our service if you move to a plan that doesn't include them or close your account.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use Zumos to:
- break any law, or take bookings for illegal services
- send spam or marketing to people who haven't agreed to it
- upload content that is false, offensive or infringes someone else's rights
- try to access other businesses' data, or interfere with or overload the service
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the software
We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
9. Our service
We work hard to keep Zumos available and secure, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update features over time and will tell you in advance about changes that significantly affect you.
10. Intellectual property
We own the Zumos software and brand. You own your business content and data, and you give us permission to use it only to provide the service to you.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business or goodwill, or for indirect losses. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
12. Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may close an account with 30 days' notice, or straight away if these terms are seriously broken. After closing, your data is deleted as described in our privacy policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will email account holders about significant changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Please contact us at [contact email to be added] first so we can try to resolve any problem.
